Uses carbamide peroxide for a gentler, slower whitening treatment worn overnight while you sleep.

Both Pola and Enlighten formulations contain fluoride specifically to minimise this. There are no long-lasting effects on tooth sensitivity from professional whitening treatments carried out under clinician supervision.
Professional teeth whitening is a harmless process when carried out correctly. The whitening agents used do not damage enamel. This is one of the key reasons we use clinician-grade systems rather than over-the-counter products the concentrations are calibrated to achieve results safely without harming the tooth structure.
Results typically last anywhere from a few months to three years depending on the individual, the system used, and lifestyle habits. Foods and drinks that stain tea, coffee, red wine and smoking will reduce the longevity of results. With Enlighten Evolution, results can last indefinitely with simple at-home top-up maintenance. Pola trays can also be reused with top-up gel purchased from the practice.

Most patients with healthy teeth and gums are suitable for whitening. It is not recommended for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those with certain types of tooth sensitivity, or where teeth have crowns, veneers, or heavily restored front teeth (as whitening will not affect these).
